Probationary Officer (PO)/Management Trainee (MT)

A Probationary officer (PO) or a Management Trainee (MT) is the primary level to enter the banking sector. He or she works under immediate seniors who assess his routine tasks assigned to him. To begin with, a Probationary Officer can be allocated any work from a wide range of constant banking activities. Normally the probation period is of two years in which the officer is assigned different types of banking related works. In a number of banks, the period may be limited to one year. The officers or trainees may go through frequent transfers or deputations during the probation period.
Once the probation period is completed the officer is granted confirmation on the post of Assistant Manager and gets his or her permanent posting. Some banks are now employing officers as Deputy Managers also, then after confirmation, provided they crack the test given by the bank. Such as: State Bank of India holds a verification exam. In case a probationary officer clears the exam, he is confirmed at the post of Assistant Manager. In fact, the State Bank of India also gives a chance for the promotion to a Scale II to applicants who does exceptionally well in the exam.
After verification officers can be given a post in specific areas of banking. Specialist Officer

He or she must possess a Degree in Law from a recognized Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50%
marks or equivalent.

Agriculture Officer

An Agricultural Officer is accountable to promote loans in rural areas associated with general and agricultural purposes under a variety of schemes outlined by government and other financial institutions. The officer needs to maintain a good professional relationship with farmers for generating lead, client acquisition, and site visits before the loan sanctioning, and follow-up for timely loan recovery.

Essential Educational Qualification:

He or she must have a Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agriculture Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation from a recognized university.

Foreign Exchange Officer

A Foreign Exchange Officer or Forex Dealer invests a corporation's funds in the currencies markets to earn profit or as part of a risk management (hedging) policy. There is no need for any formal education to trade on foreign currency markets. Generally financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies need a four-year college degree for the post of a junior Forex trader. A senior Forex dealer generally possesses a master's degree
in a finance-related field.

Information Technology (IT) Officer

Personnel Manager/HR Officer

A Personnel Manager holds the complete range of HR functions like Compensation policy, Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliances, Performance Management System, Training and Development, Staff Welfare and other relevant features of Human Resource Management.

Marketing Officer

A Marketing Officer is accountable to coordinate all marketing and social media and networking activities of the Bank. He/ She formulates various marketing perceptions, objectives, materials, advertisements, programs, press releases, and other extraordinary events permitted by Senior Management and the Board of Directors. He/ She offer supervision and synchronize implementation of efforts with respect to the installation of new or existing products and services.

Technical Officer

A Technical Officer performs his duties as a supervisor, consultant, and in charge of issues pertaining his/her field of technical know-how. For example a Civil Engineer working within Housing Finance division may be required to manage Surveying, Property valuation, Project assessment, Quantity survey, Estimation and Costing.

Essential Educational Requirement:

He or she must have a Degree in Engineering in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Production/ Metallurgy/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Textile/ Chemical/ Pharmaceuticals or any other engineering/technical field as required for the Job Profile.

Assistant Manager

An Assistant Manager is an important person whose role is to assist oversee the running of an entire branch, or a number of small branches. Every Manager needs a sturdy team behind them, and an Assistant Manager would be their first point of contact. Assistant Manager needs to, on a daily
basis, motivate and encourage staff to keep the branch/branches successively running to meet the targets.

Chartered Accountant

Chartered Accountant is concerned with the financial reporting, taxation, auditing, forensic accounting, corporate finance, business recovery and insolvency, or accounting systems and processes. Generally, they play a deliberate role by providing professional advice, aiming to maximize profitability on behalf of their client or employer.
Their characteristic activities comprises of :

Rajbhasha Adhikari

Rajbhasha Adhikari is an in charge to translate various official documents in English (or any other regional language) into Rajbhasha, that is, Hindi.

Essential Educational Requirement:

He or she must possess a 2nd class post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject in degree level OR a post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as a subject in degree level. For translation job from a language other than English, that particular language should be a part of the graduate/ postgraduate curriculum.

Banking Officer

Banking officer supervises various aspects of a retail banking environment. The duties include is to monitor the operations to do the exact accounting procedures, approving loan packages, an developing relationships with banking customers. Generally a Probationary Officer or a Management Trainee takes the role of an Officer / Manager after the end of his/her Probation/Training Period. A Customer Relationship Executive is required to uphold the coordination and a strong working relationship with external and internal customers, colleagues, and customer service management. Clerk
A bank clerk is also termed as a teller. He is a financial service professional. He/she works as the primary point of contact for most bank customers, to administer the basic bank transactions and to answer most questions. This role is seen as an entry
level position.

Office Assistant

An Office Assistant helps the staff as desirable in doing duties like research work, typing, correspondence, faxes and filing. The duties of the Office Assistant are diverse and he/she usually reports to the Business Manager for the different specific job functions that are needed to be done.
